Biography

Dr. Biswajit Nath is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, with research interests in thermal engineering, heat transfer, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), renewable energy, and sustainable building technologies. His research focuses on building thermal performance, energy-efficient composite wall systems, sustainable insulation materials, air cavities, solar thermal systems, and low-head/zero-head hydrokinetic turbines. He has experience in both computational and experimental investigations involving heat transfer, fluid flow, and renewable energy systems. His research also incorporates energy consumption and carbon-emission assessment for sustainable and climate-responsive buildings. He has published research articles in international journals and conferences and is actively engaged in teaching, research, and academic development in mechanical and thermal engineering.
