What we collect

When you register, we collect your name, email address, institutional affiliation, country and password. You may optionally provide a profile photograph, ORCID iD, biography, department, designation, and a list of publications. All data you provide is voluntary beyond the name and email required to create an account.

How we use it

Your profile data is used to:

• Create and display your public APID profile page
• Verify authorship and editorial appointments across STM Journals publications
• Enable editors and publishers to contact potential reviewers and board members
• Generate CVs, empanelment letters and editorial certificates on request

Who can see your data

Your profile page (/profiles/your-apid/) is publicly accessible. Your email address is never displayed publicly and is not shared with third parties. Appointment and application records are accessible only to you and the CELNET editorial office.

Data retention

Your APID and profile are retained indefinitely — the identifier is permanent by design and may be cited in published papers. You may request deletion of personal details by contacting the editorial office; the APID itself and publication records associated with it are retained as part of the scholarly record.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
