Biography

Dr. Sanjay Pandurang Mane is currently serving as Assistant Professor and Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department at MIT College of Railway Engineering & Research, Solapur, Maharashtra, India. He completed his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Microfluidics from BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus in September 2024.

He holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Heat and Power, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from Shivaji University, Kolhapur.

With nearly eight years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor at PVPIT, Sangli, and AITRC, Vita (affiliated to DBATU, Lonere, and Shivaji University, Kolhapur), he has taught courses including Fluid and Turbo Machinery, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Applied Thermodynamics, Renewable Energy Engineering, and Engineering Graphics.

Dr. Mane has made noteworthy contributions to academia, with over 13 research publications in international journals and conferences, along with 2 patents. His primary research interests focus on White Blood Cell (WBC) dynamics and their separation using microfluidic devices.
