Biography

Er. B. Vamsi Krishna did his Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and also obtained a Master's Degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Salford, Manchester, UK, and is currently pursuing a PhD at SR University, Warangal. He began his career as a Junior Bridge Engineer in ERA Infra Projects Ltd, later worked as a Contractor in L&T Metro Rail, Hyderabad, and is presently serving as the Chief Accreditation Officer & IQAC Coordinator at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth (Deemed to be University).

His key research interests include Health Monitoring of Structures, Bridge Engineering, Advances in Concrete Technology, and Design of RCC & Steel Structures. He is a lifetime member of professional bodies such as IIE, IRED, IAE, and ICI, and serves as an active Board of Studies (BoS) Member for UG and PG programs. He has guided 30 B.Tech and 18 M.Tech projects to completion.

He has served as an AAA Auditor for several affiliated and autonomous institutions and has guided many of them on NAAC, NBA, DTBU, MIC, and NIRF processes. He is a Guest Speaker at NAC, ESCI, and other state-level agencies. Additionally, he serves as a Technical Committee Member in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) under CED 44 – Methods of Measurement of Works of Civil Engineering. He has been awarded the “Best Teacher Award” twice under the category Outstanding Contribution in Teaching and Learning by the Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Bharat Shiksha Awards in 2023 and 2024.
