Biography
I received my BSc degree in 2015 from Mekelle University in industrial engineering. Then, I got my master's degree at Mekelle University in Production and Industrial System Engineering. I have worked for three years at Mekelle University (Ethiopian Institute of Technology, Mekelle) as a lecturer. Currently, I am working as a lecturer and researcher at Bahir Dar University (Bahir Dar Institute of Technology) in the Faculty of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. In addition, I have been working as an academic quality audit coordinator at Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, Bahir Dar University since March 2024.
I participate in community service, knowledge and technology transfer, startup ecosystems (entrepreneurship), and research associated with my field of study.
My research interests are operation research, project management, supply chain management and logistics, production management, Stochastic optimization, decision analysis (decision under uncertainty), ergonomics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence (AI).
