Biography
Dr. Surya Narayan Padhi is a Professor and Group Head in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at KL Deemed to be University, India. He possesses more than 25 years of teaching, research, and academic administration experience. His research interests include functionally graded materials, composite materials, thin-film coatings, thermal barrier coatings, advanced manufacturing, and materials engineering. He has published numerous research papers in reputed international journals and has guided undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral research projects. He has served in various academic leadership positions including Principal, Professor, and Research Group Head. His current research focuses on advanced materials for aerospace, biomedical, and energy applications.
