Biography
Getnet Bitew Worku is a PhD candidate in the Department of Natural Resource Management, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at Dilla University. He holds an MSc in Biodiversity Conservation and Management.
His research focuses on agrobiodiversity, sustainable livelihoods, and rural development, with particular emphasis on crop diversity and its role in enhancing household resilience in northwestern Ethiopia. He has authored four peer-reviewed publications and has an additional manuscript under consideration in an STM journal, with several ongoing submissions.
In addition to his research, he serves as a lecturer at the university level, teaching various courses and mentoring undergraduate students. His academic and research interests aim to contribute to sustainable agricultural development, food security, and evidence-based environmental policy.
