Biography
Raj Kumar is currently working as an Assistant professor in School of Mechanical, Smart and Industrial Engineering (Major in Mechanical Engineering) at Gachon University, Republic of Korea. He received his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon (M.S.), India, in 2003. In 2011, he obtained his Master of Engineering in Manufacturing Technology from NITTTR (Panjab University), Chandigarh, India. He earned his doctorate in mechanical engineering from Shoolini University, Himachal Pradesh (India), in 2017. His research focused on the performance of a solar air channel with discrete V-pattern baffles acting as turbulence promoters on an absorber plate. He has published over 91 research articles in peer-reviewed international journals and conference proceedings. He has also attended 18 national and international conferences. He has applied for 25 patents, 12 of which have been granted. His current research interests are renewable energy, heat transfer, thermal and manufacturing technology.
