Biography

Dr. S. Prakash, M.E., Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at Sona College of Technology (Autonomous), Salem, India. He holds a doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering and specializes in composite materials, advanced manufacturing, sustainable engineering systems, and mechatronics applications.

Dr. Prakash has published numerous research articles in reputed SCI-indexed Q1 and Q2 journals and actively collaborates with national and international researchers. His research interests include advanced materials, robotics, automation, additive manufacturing, and innovative mechanical engineering solutions.

He serves on the Editorial Boards of several international journals, including Scientific Reports (Springer Nature), the Online Journal of Materials Science, and the American Journal of Mechanical and Materials Engineering. He is also an active reviewer for leading international journals and conferences, contributing to the advancement of engineering research through peer review and academic service.

With a strong commitment to teaching, research, and scholarly publishing, Dr. Prakash continues to promote innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and excellence in engineering education and research.
