Biography

Dr Aman Sharma, MRSC is a Materials Chemist and educator dedicated to environmental sustainability. He was an Assistant Professor of Chemistry & Research Coordinator at the Department of Science & Humanities, School of Advanced Studies, S-VYASA University, Bengaluru. His research focuses on transforming bio-waste into advanced functional materials for water treatment and environmental remediation. He completed his Doctorate in 2025 from the Centre for Advanced Research & Development (CARD) at Christ University Bengaluru, under the supervision of Prof. Gurumurthy Hegde, FRSC (Director, CARD).

Working at the intersection of nanotechnology and sustainability, Dr Sharma's research focuses on biomass-based carbon nanomaterials and their various applications. He is also the founder of AMSH Endeavours, a government grant-supported start-up designed to bridge the gap between academic research and real-world environmental applications. His work has resulted in multiple patents and high-impact publications focused on a "waste-to-wealth" approach.

With over 4+ years of research experience, Dr Sharma is elected Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (MRSC). He contributes to the broader scientific community by organising conferences, securing government research grants, and conducting training outreach for fellow educators.
