Biography
Dr. Rishabh Dev Shukla is Professor and Head of the Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering Departments at Chandigarh University, Mohali, Punjab, India, with over 15 years of academic and research experience. A Ph.D. graduate from MNNIT Allahabad, his doctoral research focused on voltage and frequency control in autonomous DFIG-based wind energy systems, with several publications in reputed SCI-indexed journals. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India) [IE(I)]. His professional affiliations and leadership contributions reflect his commitment to engineering education, research excellence, and professional service.
His expertise includes sustainable energy systems, such as solar–wind hybrid integration, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and AI/IoT-based smart energy management. He has led industry-sponsored projects, delivered expert lectures nationwide, and actively mentors student-led innovations and startups.
Dr. Shukla has organized multiple international conferences, faculty development programs, and technical workshops, contributing to academic leadership and research dissemination in emerging technologies. Widely recognized for his work in power electronics, smart grids, and renewable energy systems
