Biography
Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Dayang Siti Hazimmah binti Ali is an Associate Professor at the School of Engineering and Technology, University of Technology Sarawak (UTS), Malaysia. She has more than 20 years of academic experience in teaching, research, postgraduate supervision, academic leadership, and quality assurance. She holds a PhD in Civil Engineering and specialises in Materials Engineering, Construction Materials, sustainable cementitious materials, polymer-modified concrete, composite and bio-based materials, material characterisation, durability, and advanced sustainable materials. Her research focuses on developing innovative and environmentally sustainable engineering materials, including natural-fibre composites, recycled and waste-derived construction materials, and advanced cement-based materials. She has served as a research grant reviewer, manuscript reviewer, postgraduate examiner, research committee member, and academic leader. Her professional experience also includes engineering programme accreditation, curriculum development, and ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory quality management.
