Biography
I have experience in Computer Science, with emphasis on Artificial Intelligence, working mainly on the following topics: genetic algorithm, quantum calculations, fuzzy logic, data mining, molecular dynamics and force field parameterization. He currently works as a professor and researcher linked to the Graduate Program in Bioinformatics (UFMG) and a consultant for the Ministry of Health in Brazil working as a bioinformatician and data scientist. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University Center of Pará (2002), master's degree in the Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Computing from the Federal University of Pará (2008), doctorate in the Graduate Program in Bioinformatics from the University Federal de Minas Gerais (2014) and postdoctoral (2015) in France in metagenomics carried out at the University of Rennes (IRISA).
