Biography
With over 10 years of experience in ophthalmic drug delivery, development, and pharmacokinetics, I have acquired expertise in comparative evaluation of various ocular routs of drug administration (systemic, topical, intravitreal, subretinal, suprachoroidal, intracameral) towards drug development, formulation and pharmacokinetics of small molecule and biomolecule (genes, proteins) drugs. The pharmacokinetic software that I am proficient in includes Boomer, Berkely-Madonna, WinNonlin, and PKSolver. My training includes assessment of all molecular and cellular signatures for eye, lung, and brain diseases ranging from protein and gene expression to histology and immunohistochemistry. My drug nanomedicine expertise includes polymeric nanoparticles, microparticles, and implants, with a special focus on targeted gene delivery.
