Biography

I possess 19+ years of experience including teaching, administration, and management of
University, College and Departmental activities in various positions. Currently, I am working as an Associate Professor and Head, Dept. of Computer Engg, Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology, Surat. The Institute is managed by the 105 years old Society and
is a constituent college of Sarvajanik University. The institute is the oldest self-financed institute
in South Gujarat and is among the top engineering colleges in Gujarat. Along with teaching, I am
responsible for the administration of the Intellectual Property Cell and coordination of Student Startup and Innovation activities at the University level. My IPR contributions include 2 patents, 2 copyrights, and 20+ research publications in various International/National Journals and conferences, as well as a book titled “Management Information System" by Tech Max
Publication. Of the total experience at SCET from 2009 to date, I have 4 years of administrative
experience as Head of the Department. MCA, 2 years as Director, in the endeavor of Gujarat
Technology University's Innovation Sankul project for the Surat region. My greatest strengths that helped me to achieve a successful administrative position are a progressive attitude, perseverance, and good interpersonal/communication /managerial skills.
