Biography

Dr. Manoj Kumar received the Bachelor degree (B. Sc. in Electronics) in 2004 from Maharishi
Dayanad University, Rohtak, Haryana, India. Mr. Kumar has earned master’s degree (M.TECH.
in Computer Science & Technology) in 2010 from Maharishi Dayanad University, Rohtak,
Haryana, India. Mr. Manoj Kumar has been pursing the doctoral degree (Ph.D. in Computer
Science & Technology) degree since 2019 from Manav Rachna University, Faridabad, Haryana,
India. His primary research interests are in image processing & computer vision using machine
learning and artificial intelligence. Mr. Manoj has published many research papers related to
moving object detection and tracking in videos and also extracts features moving object/vehicles
from video in real-time video surveillance system. His research area is highly demanding in the
society for surveillance, security, transportation, medical and health care domain. He is working
on colored, gray and thermal/infrared videos. He is author of more than 8 research publications
with journals of repute and some papers are under review or in press for publication with leading
publisher. Mr. Kumar has published 1 patents. He has more than 13 years of working experience
in industry as well as academia. Currently, Mr. Manoj is working an Associate Professor in Dept.
of CSE, Manav Rachna University, Faridabad, Haryana, India.
