Biography
Modupe Adeoye Onitiri is a highly motivated and talented academic, offering progressively responsible experience in teaching and research expertise in Mechanical Engineering spanning almost 19 years coupled with relevant skills to promote world leading research and student achievement. Displays extensive experience having taught and assessed numerous courses coupled with curriculum development including supervision of over 100 students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Mechanical Engineering across various universities while promoting student feedback and involvement to achieve student success. A passionate and dedicated researcher successful in building team spirit, promoting interdisciplinary research collaboration and providing quality leadership. His research interest is in materials systems, mechanical testing of materials, manufacturing, polymer composites fabrication, plastic recycling and renewable energy. Presently a faculty member in the department of Mechanical Engineering; registered engineer and member of engineering professional bodies. He has Ph.D., M.Eng. and B.Eng. (honours) degrees in Mechanical Engineering. Dr Onitiri has several publications in ISI and/or Scopus indexed journals; and participated at both national and international conferences. He is also a Reviewer to several academic journals.
