Biography
Nkhensani Florence Mabunda is a lecturer. She obtained a Master degree in Advanced Psychiatric Nursing Science from University of Pretoria in 2021, Doctor of Philosophy in Health Science from University of Venda in 2018, Bachelor of Nursing (Education and Administration) from North-West University in 2018, Magister Curationis from University of Venda in 2014 and Buccalaurious Curationis from University of Venda in 2010. Currently she is facilitating teaching and learning at Sefako Makgatho Health Science University. She worked for two years and half in Gauteng College of Nursing as a lecturer. She worked for 10 years in a Mental Health institution as a professional nurse providing mental health services. Her current and previous research interests focus on mental health care and published three articles. Memberships of professional societies include South African Nursing Council, Democratic Nursing Organisation of South Africa. She received a “Best Community Service Nurse” award in 2010 form Limpopo Department of Health and Best poster presentation from UBUNTU conference 2023.
