Biography

Dr. D. P. S. Rathore FICS FRSC M-ACS IUPAC-Affiliate Member, LM-ICC (b. March 27,1955) did his Ph.D. Chemistry (1981) from A.M.U., Aligarh, India. He has joined Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration and Research in 1981 and now superannuated as Scientific Officer-G on 31 March 2015. Dr. Rathore has served in different capacities for 34 years, including more than 7 years as Incharge, in different regional Chemical Laboratories as well as served Coordinator for 3 years, mobile geochemical laboratory in various parts of the country and was involved in providing the quick feedback of analytical data support for the various on-going uranium exploration projects of AMD.
His field of research interest/expertise is metal complexation, spectrophotometric determinations and metallochromic indicator synthesis, chelating polymeric resins, optical fluorimetry, laser-induced fluorimetry, reference measurement procedures and Geostandard certifications.
He is actively involved as reviewer for more than 30 international journals.
My research activities are still continued through publications, Reviewer activities, invited talks in the National/ international conferences, as a mentor for DST-inspire programme in different parts of country.
