Biography
I was trained in Molecular Marker Technology during my Master's and Doctoral Program. During my Post-Doctoral Research, I got trained in the Molecular Biology of Heat Tolerance in Tomato. Further, in TNAU, studied the molecular basis of heat tolerance in the rice varieties Co51 and N22. Subsequently, I was given an opportunity to work on Coconut Tissue Cuture where, my team, has standardized direct organogenensis protocol in Coconut. Also, I got an opportunity to establish a Commercial Tissue Culture Laboratory where Banana will be mass multiplied for the benefit of farmers. I am also interested in developing molecular diagnostics for identification of economically important Plant Pathogens.
