Biography

I have been working as chief librarian at VVP Engineering College, Rajkot, Gujarat a renowned engg. college in saurashtra and katchh region since last 25 years. My gratuation was in B.Sc. Chemistry, than after I have completed computer scinece course. After that I have completed bachlor and master degree in library science and than Ph.D. My topic of Ph.D. was Contribution of ICT in the development of university libraries of Gujarat. So, my interest of reserach is "Use of ICT for Library Development". I am interested in innovative activities if the libraries. How we can mixup the traditional with current digital scenario. Our library has won two times Best Library Award by ISTE Chapter of Gujarat for implementing innovative applications in our library. Service with smile is our motto. Overall development of user through library is our aim.
