Biography
Dr. Afreen Usmani currently serves as the Principal at Umapati Mahadev College of Pharmacy, Amroha. She has previously held the position of Assistant Professor at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Integral University in Lucknow. She played a crucial role in a research project funded by the Uttar Pradesh Council of Science and Technology (UPCST) under the reference CST/5018. Afreen earned her Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Integral University, Lucknow. Her academic and research contributions have resulted in the publication of more than twenty five research articles in various SCOPUS-INDEXED National and International Journals. Furthermore, she has authored eight books aimed at pharmacy students. Additionally, Afreen has two patents related to her research work.Her area of specialization lies in Pharmacology and Toxicology, with a particular focus on Hepatocellular Carcinoma and Hepatoprotective Activity.
