Biography
Dr. Imran Khan is presently working as Librarian at Zakir Husain Delhi College (University of Delhi), New Delhi. He qualified UGC-NET in Library & Information Science in December 2012. He holds M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in Library & Information Science and Masters degrees in Human Resource Management (MHRM) and English. He has more than 7 years’ experience in the field of Administration and more than 20 years’ experience in the field of Library & Information Science. He is life member of ILA, IASLIC, ASIALA, SAL, DLA and MANLIBNET. He is Reviewer and Member of Editorial Boards of many peer reviewed National and International LIS journals. His areas of expertise include Administration, Management, Library Automation & Networking, Library Management, Knowledge Management, Digitization, Application of ICT in Libraries, e-Resources, Social Networks, Social Media, Mobile Applications in Academic Libraries, etc. He has contributed many research papers in the peer reviewed National and International journals as well as chapters in edited books. He also has three books to his credit. Besides organizing, he has also attended many National and International conferences, seminars and workshops.
