Aulin Vitus, RN, DIPC, CIC, is a dedicated healthcare professional specializing in infection prevention and control. Aulin's career began with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), followed by five years of critical care nursing experience. This experience exposed Aulin to the complexities of patient care and the challenges faced by healthcare providers.
Seeking to broaden their impact, Aulin obtained a Diploma in Infection Prevention and Control (DIPC), leading to a transition into the role of an Infection Control Practitioner. For six years, Aulin excelled in implementing infection control protocols, conducting surveillance, and advising healthcare staff on best practices to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
Aulin further solidified their expertise by earning certification as a Certified Infection Control (CIC) practitioner in March 2021. This certification underscores Aulin's commitment to remaining at the forefront of infection prevention and control. Additionally, Aulin pursued a certification in Clinical Research in October 2022, demonstrating their dedication to staying informed about medical research and employing evidence-based approaches in their work.
