Biography

Ali has been working in the forensics domain for last eleven years with a demonstrated history of academic, research and real lab forensics experience. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor (Criminal Justice) at Bowie State University, MD, USA. He has been associated with Kenyon International Emergency Services, USA, as Consultant. Earlier, he has worked as Assoc. Prof. of Forensics at Arba Minch University, Ethiopia, East Africa. He has served as Assistant Chemical Examiner (Questioned Documents) at Forensic Science Laboratory, Govt. of NCT Delhi, India, where he was responsible for all felony investigations reported to the investigation agencies and successfully investigated and testified in many criminal & civil prosecutions. Ali has been serving as Assoc. Editor and reviewer for different scientific journals. He is recipient of University Grants Commission’s Senior & Junior Research Fellowship as well as prestigious fellowship of Directorate of Forensic Science Services, MHA, Govt. of India. His research interests include forensic chemistry, material chemistry, nanosensors, environmental toxicology, methodology development etc.

Ali has graduated from Department of Chemistry, University of Delhi, conferred with Ph.D in Chemistry. He holds a Masters in Forensic Science from LNJN NICFS and a bachelor in Chemistry (H) from University of Delhi, India.
