Biography
Prof. Vishakha Ganvir is currently serves as the Professor and Principal at Godavari College of Nursing in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. She is a Ph.D. Scholar at the Parul Institute of Nursing, Parul University, Vadodara, Gujarat.
She completed her UG from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, and her PG from Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences (Deemed University), Nagpur, Maharashtra. With over 13 years of teaching experience in nursing education.
She is the author of the “Paediatric/Child Health Nursing Practical/Clinical Record Book,” which holds ISBN: 978-81-7473-713-2, published by AITBS Publication, a leading medical book publisher in India. She has also authored more than five book chapters, each with an ISBN number, and has published numerous research articles within the nursing field.
Her expertise and contributions to nursing education are further recognized through her roles on the Editorial Boards of the “Scienxt Journal of Obstetrics, Perinatal and Neonatology Nursing” and the “Glorious International Journal of Nursing Research (GIJNR).” She has been honored with the “Dronacharya Award 2023” for Best Teacher, presented by the Eduved Foundation for Academics & Research.
Prof. Vishakha is a sought-after guest speaker at national conferences and serves as a judge and evaluator for the National E-Poster Competition. She is an active member of several organizations, reflecting her commitment to advancing the field of nursing both in India and globally.
