Biography
Qusay Alsalhy, an Iraqi-born Chemical Engineer, serves as a lecturer in the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Technology in Baghdad. Having commenced his tenure as an assistant lecturer in 1996, he successfully earned his Ph.D. degree from East China University of Science and Technology in 2004. His primary research focus revolves around the Preparation of Hollow Fiber Membranes and its Application. Alsalhy has made significant contributions to scholarly publications, with numerous articles featured in reputable journals. In early 2012, he established the Membrane Technology Research Unit at the University of Technology. Over the years, he has held various key positions at the university, including Director of Oil and Gas Refinery Engineering, Chemical Processing Engineering, Deputy Head of Chemical Engineering Department for Administrative and Scientific Affairs, and Director of the Membrane Technology Research Unit. In recognition of his outstanding achievements, Alsalhy was awarded the professorial title in 2013. He actively supervises several M.Sc. and Ph.D. students. Additionally, he serves on the editorial board of the different Journals, while also contributing as a reviewer for several journals across various publishers.
