Biography

J. Udaya Prakash is working as a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Vel Tech University, Chennai, since July 2015. He has a total teaching experience of 24 years. His 5 research scholars have successfully completed their PhD and 5 scholars are pursuing their PhD under his guidance. He has published 108 articles and reviewed more than 145 articles. His research interests include Composite Materials, wire EDM, tribology and drilling of MMCs. He obtained his BE in Mechanical Engineering (1996) from the Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, ME in Production Engineering (2000) and PhD in Mechanical Engineering (2016) from the College of Engineering Guindy (CEG), Anna University, Chennai, India.
