Biography
I am currently pursuing Masters in food technology and management. I have done a research work on developing a value added Indian spice mix from the underutilized bael leaf as it has vital role in health and its known for wide range of bioactive components. It also helps in reducing blood urea, reduces lipid peroxidation and cholesterol and increase glutathione levels in the liver. By developing Indian spice mix with the dried leave of bael, it ensures that required nutrients are made available in the product prepared. The podi of the leaf is prepared by the method of sun drying. Overall, the developed product enhance dietary variety, improve health outcomes and offer a novel culinary experience.
