Biography

Curiculum vitae of Professor .Alinaghi Mirmoayedi, Iranian Entomologist
I was born in, 4th March 1946, in Lahijan, north Iran. I have finished my Bsc. in general Biology, in Beheshti university, Teheran. then I went to France , to following my studies , there, in 1972, I have obtained my Msc.in Entomology in 1975, and my Ph.D.in 1977, from Paul-Sabatier university, in Toulouse, France. Since 1977 I have worked in Razi university of Kermanshah, in west Iran, first in Biology department, during 1977-1991, as assistant professor, and then from 1991 on, I worked in faculty of Agriculture of Razi university. I was founder of Department of plant protection in 1999 in Razi university, Kermanshah,Iran, and in 2005 I was promoted to the degree of associate professor. Since 1977 I have taught more than 13 biological and or entomological courses, for Bsc. students, in departments of Biology and plant protection, and also 5 entomological courses in Msc, of Agricultural Entomology. I have published 5 Academic books, in Entomology, Zoology and Biology, and also I’ve published 130 publications which could be accessed in researchgate.net.I am member of 7 scientific societies, in Iran, and abroad, and since 2004, four times awarded as distinguish researcher of Razi university. My major research interest are; Insect molecular Classification ,pest control and biological control. Since 2014 I was promoted to Professor degree of entomology. I am retired since 2016.
