Biography

Dr. Mylarappa M has 15 years of Teaching and 12 years of research experience. He has obtained his PhD Tumkur University in 2019 and is currently working in Department of Chemistry, Bangalore University, Bengaluru. His areas of Interest are Waste Battery Recycling, Energy Storage, Nanomaterials and Composites, Catalysis and Electrochemical Sensors. He is a life member of the Asia Society of Researchers (ASR), Teaching and Education Research Association (TERA), Indian Academicians and Researchers Association, Zero Waste Society of India and Electrochemical Society of India (ECSI). Recovery of precious Metals from Battery Waste and their Applications has been a focus of his research. He has received various awards such as Rajiv Gandhi Fellowship Award, Young Researcher Award, Young Scientist Award, and Best paper Award. He has written 3 books and 5 book chapters. He has published 98 Peer Reviewed International journals.
