Pravin Sankhwar is a licensed Professional Engineer in MD. With significant years of experience in graduate-level studies, electrical engineering consulting business, and petroleum operations, he has contributed to safe practices in the industry per codes and standards. He acts as a Principal Member of IEEE SA NESC. A sustainable practice background from MS in electrical engineering led him to earn Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design - LEED AP (BD+C) certification. His contributions to the transportation sector in the US are commendable as they include the review of electrical design drawings for buildings that support the road transportation department, electric vehicle charging stations design reviews and scoping, and electrification fleet transition modeling. These designs have direct application of the approved industry standards for the government agencies across the United States such as the NESC, NEC, NETA MTS, IECC, ASHRAE 90.1, IBC, IFC, and applicable NFPA standards.
