Biography
I earned my M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, in 2011, focusing on the Security-Constrained Unit Commitment (SCUC) problem in electricity markets. In 2017, I completed my Ph.D. at Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, where I researched generation scheduling for Active Distribution Networks (ADNs) by integrating technologies like Combined Heat and Power (CHP), Renewable Energy Resources (RERs), Demand Response (DR), and Energy Storage Systems (ESS). This work emphasized optimizing power systems for modern energy challenges. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland, working on energy resource planning with a focus on reducing carbon emissions. My professional experience spans teaching power engineering courses, mentoring students, and contributing to innovative solutions in power systems. I have also been actively involved in industry projects, including the development of Energy and Distribution Management Systems and consulting on distribution network planning. My research and publications focus on integrating renewable energy, demand response, green hydrogen, and electric vehicles into power systems.
