Biography
Dr. Ehsan Ul Haq has been serving The Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, UET Lahore since July 2015. He has got his early education from UET and doctorate from University of Salento (Italy) under Higher Education Commission Faculty Development Program on Silica based innovative construction materials in 2014. His research interests include role of silica in cementlesss construction materials, in biological processes, catalysis and nano ceramics. He has got his post doctorate in solar energy harvesting materials from the same University.
He has received various highly competitive travel and research grants including, HEC competitive research grant. He has published more than 55 research papers in internationally renowned journals with cumulative impact factor>210, Citations >1470 and has supervised postgraduate students >37 including One PhD. Currently, he is working in collaboration with GIKI, NUST, UET Taxila and Universita dell Salento Italy.
He has been serving as Convener of OBE team at the department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering since 2021. Under his leadership his team received four-year accreditation on Level II (Washington Accord) from Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
