Biography
Dr. Pratik Kikani, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of
Mechanical Engineering. With over a decade of academic and research involvement, he has
authored more than 14 papers in esteemed international journals and presented 2 research
papers at international conferences. Additionally, he actively contributes as a reviewer for
renowned journals such as Metallurgical and Materials Transactions A, Journal of Materials
Science Research and Reviews. As a dedicated member of professional bodies
including Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE),Institute of Corrosion(ICorr) and the
International Association of Engineers (ISE), his expertise lies in manufacturing technology,
welding simulation, welding metallurgy, among other domains. He proudly serves as a
university-level innovation ambassador and has conducted numerous faculty development
programs focusing on bridging concepts to practical applications. To date, He has
successfully supervised 10 postgraduate scholars and currently mentors 3 PhD candidate.
